Maryland High School Bowling league is a vibrant community where young athletes nurture their talents, build lasting friendships, and embrace the spirit of teamwork. Our league provides a platform for students to excel in the sport of bowling, fostering a sense of camaraderie and competition. The league consists of individual and 5 person baker team games with the objective of sending competitors to the National High School bowling tournament.

How can I join the Maryland High School Bowling league?

What are the eligibility requirements for participating?

Participants must be high school or home school students in Maryland with a passion for bowling.

Is prior bowling experience necessary to join?

No, beginners are welcome. Coaches will provide guidance and support.

What is the format?

The league is a mix of individual and team Baker games.

What is a Team Baker format?

Unlike normal league games where a single bowler will bowl all 10 frames in a game, a Team Baker event will have FIVE individuals bowl 2 frames each in a single 10 frame game. This format is extremely challenging and its the format found in Collegiate bowling.
